Lead Expert Procurement

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of products, solutions and services for power distribution and connectivity in the automotive industry, is hiring a Lead Expert Procurement in Mateur. The role covers supplier management, order control and stock optimisation within the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate supplier and article master data
• Check Material Requirements Planning (MRP) results and send orders to suppliers
• Track supplier deliveries, identify bottlenecks and escalate the risk of shortages
• Ensure optimal stock levels for raw materials and act to avoid and reduce excess and obsolete stock
• Support technical changes by ensuring ordering and delivery of new components
• Support supplier integration (localization, consignment and logistics agreements, delivery performance evaluation)
• Develop and maintain regular contact with suppliers and regularly review their delivery performance
• Support stock-take and cycle counting processes in the plant

Required profile

• University degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in value chain management (VCM)
• English and French
• Communication, social and intercultural sensitivity, change management, target and result orientation, motivation and resilience, self-organisation, conflict management and teamwork
