Industrial Engineer Manager – Trim

About the role

Lear is seeking an Industrial Engineer Manager for its Trim production line in Menzel Bourguiba, Tunisia. The role leads all technical and manufacturing engineering activities across production sites, ensuring operational excellence, process optimisation and product feasibility while supporting Lear’s commitment to safety, quality and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technical manufacturing activities across multiple production sites.
• Assess technical feasibility of new products or product ranges.
• Drive modernisation of processes, production tools and added‑value initiatives.
• Propose and implement cost, quality and lead‑time improvements.
• Coordinate technical manufacturing, logistics and production management with the Production Director/Manager.
• Hold daily meetings with production managers, engineers and maintenance teams to resolve issues and track objectives.
• Adjust production capacity to meet daily operational needs.
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for new products or technical modifications.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S policies and industry certifications (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Required profile

• Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to plan, prioritise and monitor projects.
• Strong leadership experience in technical manufacturing or industrial engineering environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and senior management.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
