About the role
The Host/Hostess greets guests, manages seating, and ensures a welcoming dining environment in a Sheraton hotel. The role requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, appropriately set tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, follow clean‑as‑you‑go procedures, and ensure menus are current and tidy.
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
- Assist guests with special seating needs and provide any required assistance throughout their visit.
- Follow company policies, report safety incidents, and maintain a professional appearance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
- Clear, professional communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
