Deputy Manager Receiving/WH/Shipping - Sousse

About the role

DRÄXLMAIER is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager Receiving & Shipping Warehouse to lead warehouse, receiving, inventory and shipping operations in its automotive manufacturing site in Sousse. The role ensures the efficient flow of materials and finished goods while driving operational excellence, inventory accuracy, cost optimization, safety compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse, receiving, inventory control and shipping activities
• Plan, coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound material flows to avoid delays
• Ensure timely receipt of raw materials and on-time shipment of finished products
• Oversee inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts, audits and corrective actions
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage capacity and material flow
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, Procurement and Transportation teams
• Ensure compliance with procedures, work instructions, company policies and EHS standards
• Lead, coach and plan the workforce, and drive digitalization and automation initiatives
• Monitor logistics KPIs and improve service levels, efficiency, quality and cost

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Logistics or a related field
• 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, including warehouse and logistics operations
• Fluency in English; German is an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, customer orientation and results-driven mindset
• Experience with HOST or similar warehouse/logistics systems is preferred

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing and manufacturing processes
