Material and Tool Handling Clerk

About the role

LEONI, a global supplier of complex wiring systems and cable harnesses for the automotive industry, is hiring a full-time Material and Tool Handling Clerk in Sousse. The role keeps materials flowing to the production lines, supports the Kanban system and helps maintain the workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and quality transport and supply of materials (raw materials, semi-finished parts and finished goods) to the delivery point.
• Run the Kanban process using Kanban cards or scanning, and make sure stocking follows the FIFO system.
• Follow replenishment cycles for new orders (returning Kanban cards, boxes, scanning) as per work instructions.
• Remove waste from the assembly lines at the end of each shift according to procedure.
• Transport clean, empty, dry containers, covers and pallets needed for harness packing to the assembly lines.
• Support and carry out the inventory stock take.
• Provide authorised maintenance and charging of loader batteries if qualified.
• Supply and move applicators and seal tracks between the Cutting & WPA area, the applicator maintenance area and the workstations, following work instructions.
• Perform required LTPM maintenance and the "Ok to Start" procedure at the beginning of each shift.

Required profile

• Education level: minimum BTP / BAC.
• At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Soft skills: communication, social and intercultural sensitivity, change management, target and result orientation, motivation and resilience, self-organisation, conflict management and teamwork.
