Claims Payment Processor & Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

The Finance team at Allianz Partners is looking for a Claims Payment Processor & Reconciliation Specialist to manage medical provider payments, monitor claim flows and ensure accurate accounting. You will work closely with finance, operations and external partners in a data‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process EFT payments to medical providers, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Monitor claims payment flows from all payers, track aging, follow up on delays and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile and update accounting systems with claims‑related transactions, maintaining compliance with internal controls.
• Calculate and collect receivables, issue statements and pursue overdue balances.
• Produce regular outstanding and aging reports for payers and internal teams.
• Maintain organized records for audit purposes.
• Communicate professionally with providers, insurers and partners to resolve queries.
• Utilise AI, machine‑learning, data‑analytics and cloud‑based tools responsibly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in finance, accounting or claims payment processing; experience in a TPA, hospital or insurance setting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payment runs and reconciliations simultaneously.
• Clear, professional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, escalate issues when needed and adapt to changing volumes.
• Legal right to work in the country of operation and willingness to work extended hours when required.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
