Chargé(e) de crédit – Médenine

About the role

The Credit Officer will work on the ground to prospect and acquire new micro‑enterprise clients for a micro‑finance institution in Médenine, Tunisia. Reporting to the Credit Director, the role combines sales, credit assessment and collection responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of credit lines and achieve defined sales targets.
• Provide high‑quality customer service throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Assess loan applications, prepare reasoned recommendations and approve or refer decisions.
• Implement effective collection practices to keep delinquency within acceptable limits.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or Economics.
• Minimum three years of experience in credit operations (insurance dossier management is a plus).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Result‑driven, analytical mindset with good time‑management abilities.
• Excellent command of written and spoken French.
