Chargé(e) de crédit – Le Kef

About the role

The Credit Officer will work in the field, prospecting and acquiring new micro‑enterprise clients for a micro‑finance institution. Reporting to the Credit Director, the role focuses on building a loan portfolio while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of credit facilities and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Prospect, approach and onboard new micro‑entrepreneurs in the Le Kef region.
• Evaluate loan applications, prepare justified recommendations and ensure compliance with credit policies.
• Implement effective collection practices to keep delinquency levels within acceptable limits.
• Maintain continuous, high‑level client service throughout the loan lifecycle.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or Economics.
• Minimum three years of experience in credit management; experience with insurance file handling is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Result‑driven, analytical mindset with good time‑management abilities.
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
