Apprentice Data Scientist

About the role

Join FORVIA's Data Transformation Department as an Apprentice Data Scientist and contribute to sustainable mobility solutions. You will work with structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data to generate insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data mining across diverse data sources.
• Develop Business Intelligence dashboards and analytical insights.
• Ensure data quality, interpret issues and propose solutions.
• Prepare datasets for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
• Create ontologies to support knowledge and data management.
• Collaborate with business owners, IT architects and senior data scientists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking.
• Good communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Big‑data ecosystems: Spark and Hadoop.
• SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• PowerBI for dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with Dataiku; Palantir is a plus.
