Video Editor – Motion & Content

About the role

We are looking for a creative Video Editor who can turn raw footage and app screen recordings into engaging tutorial videos and short‑form social content. The role combines precise editing, kinetic text, and simple 2D animation to produce native‑feeling videos for platforms such as Reels and TikTok.

Key responsibilities

• Transform app screen recordings into step‑by‑step tutorial videos with callouts, cursor highlights and UI annotations.
• Edit raw footage (interviews, events, influencer clips) into short‑form Reels/TikToks, adding pacing cuts, captions and light motion graphics.
• Source and adapt stock footage or templates, applying brand colors, logo, emoji, tagline and copy to create a native look.
• Add kinetic text, lower‑thirds and simple 2D animation elements.
• Cut long‑form assets into multiple repurposed short clips for vertical platforms.

Required profile

• Experience editing vertical short‑form videos for platforms such as Reels and TikTok, with attention to safe zones, hook‑in‑first‑3‑seconds and caption timing.
• Familiarity with sourcing and licensing stock footage and reskinning templates to match a brand system.
• Bonus: prior work on app tutorials, walkthroughs or feature demos.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro (or CapCut / DaVinci Resolve) for video editing.
• After Effects or equivalent for 2D motion graphics and text animation.
• Experience with stock libraries such as Envato Elements, Motion Array or Storyblocks.
• Ability to add kinetic text, lower‑thirds and simple 2D animation elements.
