Technical Support Engineer – German Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Technical Support Engineer to join a fast‑growing renewable energy company. You will provide remote assistance for photovoltaic (PV) inverters and home battery systems, helping customers resolve technical issues and ensuring smooth commissioning and operation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in German.
• Analyse error logs, identify patterns and propose corrective actions.
• Support the commissioning and ongoing operation of PV inverters and home storage units.
• Document all interactions and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Order and coordinate spare parts when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service or an electrotechnical environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts such as voltage and current.
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude and team spirit.
• Fluent German (technical terminology included); good English is a plus.
