Technical Leader – Software Delivery

About the role

Zembra is seeking a Technical Leader to drive the design and delivery of its enterprise review‑scraper platform. The role combines hands‑on development with mentorship of junior engineers, ensuring high‑quality, scalable solutions that support the company’s online reputation management services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead solution design and implementation for platform features, integrations, and services.
• Lead and manage junior engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and day‑to‑day technical guidance.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and delivery plans.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, release, and production support.
• Establish technical direction and ensure alignment to architecture and engineering standards.
• Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex production issues and cross‑system integrations.
• Ensure operational readiness through observability, runbooks, release validation, and incident learnings.
• Maintain clear and current technical documentation (architecture, operational procedures, engineering practices).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity (technical lead, lead developer, engineering lead) with coaching and mentoring responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex projects end‑to‑end and improving software quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts and trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to prioritize and plan across multiple workstreams (features, tech debt, reliability).
• Comfortable setting standards, holding the bar through coaching and accountability, with a bias for automation and continuous improvement.
