System Administrator

About the role

The System Administrator will join Heineken's IT team in Tunis, ensuring the reliability, security and performance of the company's servers, networks and critical business systems. This full‑time, on‑site position provides second‑line technical support to internal users and collaborates closely with IT and business teams on infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor servers, networks and business‑critical systems to guarantee high availability.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, backups and restores.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network incidents.
• Provide second‑line technical support and manage user accounts and access rights.
• Monitor network connectivity, LAN/WAN, firewalls and VPNs.
• Collaborate on infrastructure projects and document configurations in line with company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in system administration, including server management and operating‑system configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software and network issues.
• Knowledge of network administration (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, monitoring tools).
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and security best practices.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Experience with virtualization, cloud services and backup/restore solutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced production setting.
