Summer 2026 HW Component Database Internship

About the role

Join STMicroelectronics as a Summer 2026 intern to help develop a File Management Tool that automates electronic component documentation within the Hardware department. You will work on automating the addition, update, and organization of component files in Allegro Pulse, improving documentation quality and traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current file and document handling processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Define expected tool behavior and workflow in collaboration with the team.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and VBA for Excel to manage component documents.
• Test, validate, and refine the solution to ensure reliable documentation management.
• Support ongoing improvement of documentation quality and traceability.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of electronic components and basic understanding of hardware design.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment.
• Proficiency in English for daily communication and documentation.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• VBA for Excel.
