Store Manager – Hypermarket/Supermarket

About the role

The Store Manager leads the overall operational and commercial performance of a hypermarket or supermarket. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strict compliance with operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations from opening to closing, ensuring smooth performance across all departments.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and monitor commercial results.
• Analyze sales data, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, coach and evaluate the store team, allocate tasks and enforce discipline.
• Maintain product availability, oversee inventory, stock rotation and shrinkage control.
• Ensure merchandising, cleanliness, safety and health standards are met.
• Handle customer complaints and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Prepare performance reports and coordinate with senior management to improve store profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of hands‑on experience in modern‑trade retail operations, preferably in Tunisia.
• Proven track record of managing large‑format stores (hypermarket or supermarket).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop a high‑performing workforce.
