Specialist Sample Coordination

About the role

The Specialist Sample Coordination role ensures the timely, efficient, and accurate production of all sample parts – customer, internal, and validation – while coordinating deliveries across internal functions, suppliers, and customers. The position is central to managing prototype and after‑market parts within the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate all sample and after‑market deliveries, working with production, quality, engineering and other internal teams.
• Organise and maintain sample stock, controlling parts without a LEONI FORS part number.
• Lead the sample and after‑market team, planning prototype parts production in collaboration with the product section.
• Ensure training on work instructions and processes related to prototype production.
• Monitor P&L for prototype production and drive process improvements together with engineering and plant teams.
• Define production concepts for after‑market parts in cooperation with industrialisation.
• Collaborate closely with material suppliers, customers, project management, quality, PPE, SCM and equipment suppliers.
• Interface with purchasing for manual ordering of non‑LEONI parts and manage stock to minimise scrap.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity and teamwork abilities.
• Result‑orientation, motivation, resilience and self‑organisation.
• Ability to manage change and resolve conflicts.
