Spare Parts Storekeeper

About the role

The Spare Parts Storekeeper ensures efficient receipt, storage, identification, control, and distribution of spare parts and maintenance materials for a global aerospace component manufacturer. The role supports maintenance, purchasing, finance, and production teams to keep inventory accurate and equipment downtime to a minimum.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, and store spare parts, consumables and maintenance materials in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or inventory management system and perform regular cycle counts.
• Monitor stock levels, identify critical or excess items, and adjust minimum/maximum quantities based on maintenance needs.
• Issue parts to authorized personnel, record all movements, and manage returns, unused or defective items.
• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and documentation, reporting any discrepancies.
• Apply 5S principles, keep the store organized, and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Support urgent spare‑part requests to minimise equipment downtime.

Required profile

• Experience handling spare parts, consumables and maintenance materials in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems for accurate record‑keeping.
• Understanding of safety, 5S and traceability procedures.
• Ability to work closely with maintenance, purchasing, finance and production teams.
