Software Engineer – FPGA Verification (Mid‑Level)

About the role

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join the Hardware‑Assisted Verification division in Tunis. You will work within a high‑performing FPGA‑based prototyping R&D team, developing and debugging software for the Veloce proFPGA platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, modifying and implementing software for internal and external products.
• Ensure functional quality of released products across all required platforms and environments.
• Develop low‑level validation software for components and integrate system components with the software team.
• Perform debugging of RTL designs and support static timing analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in C++, algorithms and object‑oriented development.
• Proficiency in digital design using HDL (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog).
• Hands‑on experience with FPGA design tools (Vivado, Quartus) and static timing analysis.
• Strong debugging skills in RTL design and simulation.
• Familiarity with Linux and scripting (TCL, Bash, Python).
• Experience with version‑control systems (Git, Perforce, SVN).
• Fluent English.
