Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, deployment and optimisation of a large‑scale private cloud transformation. The role combines deep expertise in virtualization, storage and infrastructure engineering with a strong DevOps, IaC and FinOps mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage VMware virtualization environments (vSphere, vCenter, optionally NSX).
• Modernise and automate infrastructure platforms to ensure high availability, resilience and performance.
• Manage enterprise SAN/NAS storage systems (HPE, NetApp), optimise performance and oversee data lifecycle.
• Contribute to private‑cloud architecture design (OpenStack, Azure Stack, VMware Cloud Foundation) and migration from legacy infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, Packer and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
• Automate provisioning, configuration and support CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Apply FinOps principles to monitor usage, capacity and cost, providing optimisation recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, virtualization and storage management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in a transformation‑driven environment.
