Senior Backend Engineer – Relocate to UAE

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast‑growing software development company that serves FinTech, iGaming and Marketing clients. The role is based in the UAE and includes full relocation support. You will own the architecture and performance of backend systems, ensuring they remain scalable and reliable as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product teams to translate user and business requirements into scalable, well‑architected backend solutions.
• Own the full lifecycle of web application development, from design through deployment.
• Design and build system architectures that stay fast and reliable as usage grows.
• Write unit and integration tests to catch problems before they reach production.
• Participate in incident response, post‑mortems and feed lessons back into more resilient systems.
• Adapt to shifting team priorities and contribute to other engineering tasks as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on backend development experience, primarily with Java/Java Core.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and system design.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Proven ability to design and implement microservices architectures.
• Comfortable working with multiple database technologies and messaging systems.
