Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Blauwtrust Groep (BTG) is expanding its Tunis operations and seeks a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join an international infrastructure team. You will work closely with the Head of Infrastructure, Architect, and Platform Product Owner based in the Netherlands, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, Microsoft experts, and external partners on architectural and technical decisions.
• Analyse existing private‑cloud environments across subsidiaries, including VM configurations, resource consumption, and dependencies.
• Design and execute detailed migration plans for each application, aligned with security and CISO guidelines.
• Deploy servers and Azure resources while balancing technical, security, and cost constraints.
• Set up tools and dashboards to monitor project progress, cloud usage, and budget consumption.
• Ensure stability, performance, and security of the Azure environment through daily monitoring and proactive maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience migrating on‑premise or private‑cloud workloads to Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
