Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Blauwtrust Groep (BTG) is expanding its Tunis operations and seeks a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join an international infrastructure team. You will work closely with the Head of Infrastructure, Architect, and Platform Product Owner based in the Netherlands to design, implement, and manage BTG’s Azure Cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, Microsoft experts, and external partners on architectural and technical decisions.
• Analyse existing private‑cloud setups, including VM configurations, resource consumption and dependencies.
• Design and execute detailed migration plans for each application, aligned with security recommendations.
• Deploy servers and resources in Azure while balancing technical, security and cost constraints.
• Set up monitoring tools and dashboards to track project progress, cloud usage and budget.
• Ensure stability, performance and security of the Azure environment through daily monitoring and proactive maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience migrating on‑premise or private‑cloud workloads to Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
