Remote Script Writer – Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media formats, including YouTube videos, commercials, television spots, and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready scripts that align with our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character arcs with directors, producers, and the wider creative team.
• Conduct in‑depth research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and manage pacing to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback, and revise scripts accordingly.
• Maintain consistent formatting and continuity according to industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter, or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to pitch concepts and accept constructive criticism.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for diverse audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
