Platform Engineer (Full-Stack Generalist)

About the role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer who will act as a full‑stack generalist, building and maintaining shared platform libraries and reusable components that power multiple applications, services and AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance shared platform libraries and reusable components across backend services, frontend applications, and AI agent ecosystems.
• Design and implement cross‑functional features that ensure seamless integration of platform services.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Improve developer productivity by enhancing local development environments, documentation, debugging tools, and engineering best practices.
• Rapidly prototype AI agents, user interfaces, forms, and mini‑applications using reusable tooling.
• Support software release management, including version control, environment promotion, deployment validation, and production readiness reviews.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents while driving continuous service improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Typically 3+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience building backend services (e.g., FastAPI) and frontend applications (e.g., Next.js, React).
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools such as pytest, Jest, and Playwright.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD practices, and Kubernetes fundamentals in cloud‑native environments.
• Ability to quickly learn new frameworks, tools, and emerging technologies.
• Working knowledge of AI and Large Language Model concepts, including agent architectures and prompt engineering.
• Proven debugging, troubleshooting, and incident‑response skills in production.
• Experience collaborating using modern version‑control and DevOps processes.
