Material Planning Supervisor

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Material Planning Supervisor to ensure uninterrupted production of safety-critical components such as seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels. You will lead material planning activities, align supply with demand, and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage production and non‑production materials using MRP, demand forecasts, and production schedules.
• Review, release, and adjust supply plans according to demand changes and inventory levels.
• Monitor material availability to guarantee uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align material supply with production requirements.
• Maintain inventory levels in line with company targets and turnover objectives.
• Identify and mitigate material shortages, excess stock, and slow‑moving inventory.
• Follow up on supplier deliveries and resolve supply‑related issues.
• Coordinate shipment plans with suppliers and warehouse teams for efficient material flow.
• Support initiatives to reduce logistics costs and premium freight.
• Drive continuous improvement in supply planning and inventory control processes.
• Participate in material readiness reviews and engineering change implementation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Material Planner, Logistics Engineer, or similar supply‑chain role.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership experience managing or coordinating teams.
• Fluent in English and French.
