Material Planner Supervisor

About the role

Versigent is seeking a Material Planner Supervisor to lead its procurement team. You will coordinate material supply operations, ensuring that production plans are met on time, with the right quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of supply planners, organizing workload based on SKU count and supplier base.
• Define and continuously monitor the supply schedule aligned with company material requirements.
• Track supplier performance to mitigate delays and communicate critical issues.
• Maintain optimal raw‑material inventory, preventing stockouts and production stoppages.
• Analyze weekly safety‑stock levels and take corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to monitor key performance indicators.
• Improve processes and tools to optimize raw‑material management and information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience, including material planning.
• Previous managerial experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and inventory control.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
