Logistics Agent

About the role

King Maritime is seeking a Logistics Agent to manage the flow of cargo across sea, land and air routes. You will act as the central point of coordination, ensuring shipments move safely, on time and cost‑effectively while providing excellent service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and track import/export shipments through various transport modes.
• Coordinate with trucking firms, warehousing partners and shipping lines to secure equipment and schedule bookings.
• Monitor shipments in real‑time, identify bottlenecks and trigger corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, delivering accurate updates and logistics solutions.
• Maintain transport documentation, update internal systems and verify invoicing and warehousing logs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding or supply‑chain operations.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or International Trade.
• Professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and customer‑orientation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using logistics management software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities.
