Java Software R&D Engineer

About the role

Vneuron, a leading RegTech company, is looking for a Java Software R&D Engineer to design, develop, and integrate new features for its Reis RCS platform. You will work in a collaborative Agile team, ensuring high code quality and contributing to the evolution of a solution that combats financial crime.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate new software functionalities for the Reis RCS platform.
• Participate in technical design and architectural discussions.
• Maintain code quality by following modern development best practices.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing components.
• Produce clear technical documentation for all delivered features.
• Monitor technology trends and propose improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Significant experience in software development, preferably on large‑scale systems.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to handle complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
