Industrial Engineer Coordinator

About the role

As an Industrial Engineer Coordinator you will lead a team of industrial engineers, ensuring projects, model launches and engineering changes are delivered on time and meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the industrial engineering team and cascade operational objectives into actionable work plans.
• Monitor new model launches and project milestones, guaranteeing alignment with customer schedules.
• Oversee the implementation of engineering changes, aiming for zero incidents and uninterrupted line performance.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, plant operations and customers to maintain seamless synergy.
• Manage engineering change documentation, update material and time files, and assemble pre‑production harnesses.
• Publish “5 Whys” analyses for each incident and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct PFMEA follow‑up after changes and ensure alignment with shop‑floor requirements.
• Alert internal and external stakeholders to design‑related risks and participate in BOD design reviews.
• Facilitate customer audits and certification processes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Industrial Engineering or related field).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and lead a team.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
