HR Generalist – Manufacturing (Sfax)

About the role

The Human Resource Generalist will support Enovis' manufacturing operations in Sfax, Tunisia. Reporting to the Country HR Manager, you will ensure HR policies are applied consistently, maintain compliance with Tunisian labor legislation, and foster stable employee and labor relations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HR policies, procedures, and internal regulations in line with the Tunisian Labor Code and collective agreements.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors on policy, procedure, and workforce matters.
• Coordinate recruitment activities with dedicated recruiters, handling interview scheduling, onboarding, and documentation.
• Support payroll accuracy by providing timely HR data on attendance, absences, overtime, and employee records.
• Manage employee relations issues, including attendance, leave, discipline, and workplace concerns, ensuring legal compliance.
• Collaborate with management and union representatives (UGTT) to support social dialogue and grievance handling.
• Organize training sessions, track participation, and maintain training records according to site and legal requirements.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain workforce documentation with confidentiality and audit standards.
• Keep personnel files and HR system data up‑to‑date while respecting data protection rules.
• Participate in HR initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects aligned with country HR priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting in Tunisia.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Tunisian labor legislation and collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience handling employee relations, recruitment coordination, and payroll support.
• Strong communication skills in French and Arabic, with proficiency in English.
