HR Assistant (Tunis)

About the role

Pharmalys Laboratories, a Swiss‑based nutrition company, is looking for an HR Assistant to support its HR Director in Tunisia. You will help develop HR objectives, manage day‑to‑day HR operations and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in full‑cycle recruitment: source candidates, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews and manage onboarding documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, track leave, attendance and payroll data using Sage Paie.
• Gather and analyse HR metrics such as time‑to‑hire and turnover rates, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Support internal audits, ensure regulatory compliance and help align global HR strategies with local needs.
• Provide frontline employee‑relations support, helping managers resolve issues promptly.
• Participate in HR projects and administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a generalist HR support role.
• Professional proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment, and solid analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using HR/payroll software, specifically SAGE.
