Hotel Hygienist

About the role

As a Hotel Hygienist at Hilton, you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and clean environment for guests and staff. Your work ensures that health, safety and hygiene standards are consistently met across the property, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering and Health & Safety Manager in overseeing health, food, fire and security protocols.
• Enforce company health‑and‑safety policies and help reduce guest complaints and safety‑related claims.
• Conduct regular audits, accident investigations and food‑safety checks, documenting findings and driving corrective actions.
• Deliver training on food hygiene, fire safety and other compliance topics, maintaining accurate training records.
• Collaborate with Facilities to test fire detection and sprinkler systems, perform weekly fire tours and report deficiencies.
• Support monitoring of contractor activities to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
