About the role

Lerno Academy, a specialised training centre in Tunis, is looking for a dynamic German language trainer to deliver interactive courses from A1 to B2 level. You will work with learners aiming to study or undertake vocational training in Germany, supporting them through exam preparation and practical guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver face‑to‑face German lessons (A1‑B2) tailored to diverse learner goals.
• Design engaging learning activities and materials that reinforce language acquisition.
• Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback and assist with Goethe and ÖSD exam preparation.
• Participate in pedagogical meetings, contribute to curriculum improvement and share best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Strong experience in facilitating learner‑centred language classes.
• Advanced German proficiency (minimum C1) with good command of French and/or English.
• Degree in German Studies, Education, Linguistics or equivalent teaching experience.
• Familiarity with the CEFR framework and experience preparing students for standardized exams.
• Ability to work with young adults and support their academic and professional projects in Germany.

Required skills

• Instructional design and curriculum planning.
• Organisational skills for managing multiple groups and schedules.
• Basic digital tools (presentation software, online resources) to enrich classroom activities.
