Experienced Data Scientist (NLP & Azure Databricks)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our AI squad, focusing on developing and deploying advanced NLP models and AI solutions that drive business innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement advanced NLP models and algorithms to solve business problems.
• Use Azure Databricks for training, deploying and monitoring AI models, ensuring efficient data preparation.
• Build and maintain Python APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or Tornado) to integrate AI models into scalable micro‑services.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to structure, clean and integrate data pipelines.
• Communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders through reports and visualisations.
• Work with MySQL and MongoDB databases for data management and retrieval.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and experiment with new tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in data science with a strong focus on NLP.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn and transformers.
• Experience developing APIs using FastAPI, Flask or Tornado.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks and cloud‑based data pipelines.
• Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
• Strong collaborative mindset and fluent English communication.
