Engineering Project Leader

About the role

The Engineering Project Leader will drive end‑to‑end projects from planning through industrialisation, ensuring manufacturing processes are efficient, compliant and of high quality. Working across multiple sites and functions, the role supports continuous improvement, technology transfer and operational excellence in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from initiation to closure, delivering on schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Coordinate technology transfer activities across sites, suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and optimise processes to improve efficiency, quality and productivity.
• Plan and execute equipment and process qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) and validate manufacturing equipment, utilities and processes.
• Create project plans, allocate resources and track performance using KPIs.
• Perform risk assessments (e.g., FMEA) and implement mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and R&D on continuous‑improvement and problem‑solving activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements and internal procedures such as CAPA, change control and deviation management.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in process and equipment qualification and validation.
• Experience in technology transfer and industrialisation projects within manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of GMP, validation requirements and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in project management, scheduling and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience with risk management methodologies such as FMEA.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
