Data Engineer – AWS Cloud Platform

About the role

As a Data Engineer at Capgemini, you will help build and evolve a modern, cloud‑based data platform that processes large volumes of information from connected services. You will work in a collaborative, international environment, delivering reliable and high‑performance data solutions while supporting cloud migration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS.
• Implement data transformations and ensure data quality across the platform.
• Optimize data workflows for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cloud migration projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI projects.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• SQL and relational database expertise.
• Python programming.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Git version control and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
