Data Analyst – Sales Analytics

About the role

ADP is seeking a Data Analyst to own the Sales Analytics function for a Business Unit within Worldwide Commercial Operations. You will partner with sales leadership, finance, and planning teams to deliver prescriptive insights that drive productivity and improve forecasting accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Become an expert in the assigned business unit and identify improvement opportunities through technology, process, or strategy.
• Collaborate with the Advanced Analytics team to translate business questions into predictive and prescriptive insights.
• Design, develop, and deploy SQL‑based Tableau dashboards that illustrate past performance, forecast future outcomes, and recommend actions.
• Participate in sales performance reviews and strategy meetings as the analytics expert, providing data‑driven guidance.
• Prioritize projects in alignment with Business Unit leadership.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with experience in SQL and data visualization.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for presenting complex data to large audiences.
• Self‑starter mindset capable of leading assignments from question formulation to rollout.
• Advanced problem‑solving skills, able to hypothesize, test, and present findings.
• Comfortable working in a lean, fast‑paced environment as a proactive team player.
