VAS & BSS Manager – Onsite (Tunisia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Support System (BSS) and Value‑Added Services (VAS) Manager to lead the end‑to‑end operations of our telecom application ecosystem in Tunisia. The role ensures high service availability, optimal performance, and strict compliance with service level agreements in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full BSS/VAS portfolio, including Charging, Billing, Mediation, Provisioning, Interconnect, Middleware and VAS platforms.
• Own application availability, performance monitoring and SLA adherence.
• Coordinate IT teams, vendors and business stakeholders for seamless service delivery.
• Define and govern ITIL‑based processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLA and reporting.
• Drive process automation, continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Plan and control operational budgets, resource allocation and cost optimisation.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and capability development of support teams.
• Monitor KPIs, OLAs and service metrics, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Lead major incident management, root‑cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Oversee vendor performance, contracts and compliance with telecom regulations and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience managing telecom BSS/VAS applications and leading cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of telecom BSS/OSS environments and related processes.
• Experience with financial reporting in telecom or technology settings is a plus.
• ITIL or Service Management certification preferred.
