VAS & BSS Manager – Onsite in Tunisia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced VAS & BSS Manager to lead the end‑to‑end operations of our Telecom Business Support System ecosystem. The role ensures high service availability, optimal performance, and strict SLA compliance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full suite of BSS/VAS applications, including Charging, Billing, Mediation, Provisioning, Interconnect, Middleware, and VAS platforms.
• Own operational availability, performance monitoring, and SLA adherence for all BSS services.
• Coordinate between IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to guarantee smooth service delivery.
• Define and govern ITIL‑based processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Reporting.
• Drive process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and control operational budgets, resource allocation, and cost‑optimization activities.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and capability development of support teams.
• Monitor and report KPIs, SLAs, OLAs, and take corrective actions when needed.
• Manage major incidents, root‑cause analysis, and preventive measures.
• Oversee vendor performance, contracts, renewals, and compliance with telecom regulations and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, IT, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• Proven experience managing Telecom BSS/VAS applications in a large‑scale environment.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• ITIL / Service Management knowledge (certification preferred).
• Database and reporting‑tool expertise.
• Enterprise application operations experience.
