About the role
As part of the expansion of our tooling team, Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a talented Tooling Engineer to support both New Product Introduction (NPI) and ongoing production activities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical design skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop new mechanical products and components.
- Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in accordance with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and NPI teams to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of existing tools, products, and processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices.
Required profile
- Proven experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and other CAD/CAE tools.
- Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
