Technologist – Tooling Preparation

About the role

The Technologist – Tooling Preparation will manage the ordering, release and maintenance of various tooling assets during product changes and new introductions. This role acts as the bridge between production engineers and suppliers, ensuring smooth implementation of innovative tooling solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ordering and release of rework tools, handy tools, clip guns, foaming and moulding tools, as well as innovative equipment such as robots, AGVs and VR glasses.
• Create and maintain maintenance work instructions, train the maintenance team, and monitor tool traceability and material status for validation tests.
• Define and set up the spare‑parts database, order initial spare parts, and coordinate service providers for auxiliary tools and non‑standard equipment.
• Support technical changes based on drawing and quality requirements, and share lessons learned across production sites.

Required profile

• Technical University degree.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive in change management, result‑oriented and resilient.
