About the role

MZ‑Consulting, a specialized engineering consultancy in mechanical and electrical design, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Technician to support strategic projects for an international group. The role focuses on creating detailed 3D models and technical documentation for complex industrial sectors such as nuclear, marine, oil & gas, and energy.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical.
• Prepare complete technical dossiers, including manufacturing drawings, assembly files, calculation notes, and FDM documentation.
• Participate in the design and continuous improvement of mechanical products.
• Standardize CAD models and develop component libraries.
• Analyze technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Update and maintain drawings as design changes occur.
• Ensure proper document management of all technical files.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Creative mindset, rigor, and motivation to learn.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English, including technical English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Mechanical.
• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks.
