Technical Product Manager - AI Products

About the role

Tappz is building the next generation of AI‑powered apps and needs a Technical Product Manager who can bridge strategy and execution. You will own the roadmap for our AI products across mobile and web, while keeping engineering processes sharp, structured, and moving.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap for AI‑focused mobile and web applications.
• Define, prioritize, and translate features based on user research, data, and business goals.
• Write detailed technical specifications and acceptance criteria before development.
• Maintain backlog hygiene in Linear (or similar), set up workflows, and keep the board accurate.
• Run sprint planning, cycle reviews, and retrospectives with the engineering team.
• Manage product‑to‑engineering handoff to ensure seamless delivery.
• Set clear goals and success metrics for each feature and release.
• Communicate product vision, roadmap progress, and engineering status to stakeholders and leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product management experience in a tech or AI‑driven environment.
• Proven track record of shipping mobile and/or web products at scale.
• Strong ability to write detailed technical specs and acceptance criteria.
• Comfortable running engineering ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Data‑driven mindset with hands‑on analytics experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High ownership, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑moving startup.

Required skills

• Linear (or Jira) for project management and backlog maintenance.
• AI/LLM product experience (strong plus).
• Technical background sufficient to read and understand code.
• Data analytics tools and techniques.
