STM32CubeMX Development Internship (Apprenticeship 2026)

About the role

Join STMicroelectronics as a Development Intern in the 2026 Apprenticeship Program, focusing on STM32CubeMX tools. You will contribute to the design, implementation and integration of new features for the STM32 PC software suite used by embedded developers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Specify, design and implement enhancements for STM32CubeMX desktop and web‑based tools.
• Integrate new functionalities into official software releases under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and documentation of features.
• Participate in testing, debugging and bug‑tracking activities.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in object‑oriented programming, preferably Java.
• Academic or project experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.
• Understanding of ARM Cortex architecture and embedded C compilers (e.g., EWARM, MDK‑ARM).
• Familiarity with STM32 microcontroller families and their ecosystems.
• Experience with version control and issue tracking tools like Git and Bugzilla.
