About the role
LEONI is a global provider of wiring systems and cable harnesses for the automotive industry. The Specialist Test Technology Engineer will create and review test technology work instructions, support the development of test equipment and tools, and analyse technical errors for customer claims.
Key responsibilities
- Creates and reviews local test technology work instructions.
- Supports test equipment and tool development, including design of test modules and specific processes.
- Performs technical error analyses for customer claims and identifies root causes of process disturbances.
- Develops test sequences and programs for test tables, boards, and vision systems, managing changes and project requirements.
- Ensures proper setup, backup, and parameter control of test programs.
- Provides feedback to Production Technology on test module functionality and design.
Required profile
- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry (appreciated).
