Specialist Production Planning

About the role

The Specialist Production Planning role ensures accurate and efficient production scheduling to meet customer demand while minimizing obsolete stock and costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) deliveries.
• Monitor production output continuously to keep finished‑goods inventory in line with customer demand and inventory strategy.
• Identify urgent orders, escalate issues, and propose alternative delivery plans when deadlines are at risk.
• Support dispatch, outbound truck planning, and coordinate material availability with procurement.
• Maintain finished‑goods inventory data in the ERP system and assist with technical change processes to avoid obsolescence.
• Prepare analyses for claims related to obsolete stock and non‑performance costs, and support stock‑take activities.

Required profile

• Engineer degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Technical Engineering or a Master in Logistics.
• Fluent in English (C1) and French (C1).
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, change management, and result orientation.
• Motivation, resilience, self‑organization, conflict management and teamwork abilities.
