Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

About the role

ServicePower is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to enhance the quality and reliability of its field service management platform. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated test coverage for web applications and APIs, collaborating closely with development and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
• Create API test coverage with Postman and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify testing gaps and risks, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across features.
• Analyze test results and defects, working with engineers to resolve issues.
• Perform manual verification when needed to support safe releases.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API testing tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Git.
