Shift Leader Production

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee its production shift, ensuring smooth operations and meeting performance targets. The role combines team leadership, process improvement and compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced automotive wiring environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the shift unit, driving achievement of defined KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, advise on process enhancements and ensure governance adherence.
• Plan and organise daily team activities to cover all production stages and incoming requests.
• Set objectives, assign tasks and monitor performance of direct reports.
• Assess training needs, support professional development and promote knowledge transfer.
• Implement measures to boost team performance, flexibility, diversity and succession planning.
• Maintain compliance with legal, safety, environmental and OPEX standards.
• Report risks and opportunities, contribute to customer satisfaction and financial targets.
• Ensure efficient use of materials, uphold order and cleanliness on the shop floor.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience, preferably in a leadership role within production.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong competencies in conflict management, feedback, moderation, negotiation, presentation, problem solving and project management.
