Shift Leader Operations Quality

About the role

The Shift Leader Operations Quality manages and supervises the Operations Quality unit, ensuring objectives and KPIs are met. This role focuses on continuous improvement, governance adherence, and effective team leadership within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Operations Quality organization unit according to defined objectives and KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, provide consulting, and enhance service delivery.
• Lead direct reports, define objectives, tasks, and monitor performance.
• Plan regular team activities to cover all stages and respond to requests.
• Identify training and development needs, support professional growth of team members.
• Propose and apply measures to improve team performance, flexibility, and succession planning.
• Authority to stop production lines and product delivery in case of non‑conformities and release after corrective actions.
• Decide and supervise sorting activities to protect customers and manage quality costs.
• Manage transversal resolution of quality problems escalated by production segments or detected by customers.

Required profile

• University degree in Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, and change management skills.
• Result‑orientation, motivation, resilience, and self‑organization.
• Autonomy, customer relationship skills, and priority management.
