SHEQ Manager

About the role

The SHEQ Manager leads the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team at Henkel’s manufacturing site, ensuring the plant operates safely, sustainably and meets all legal and corporate standards while supporting customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations.
• Coordinate health programs, ensure compliance with health regulations and manage regular health checks.
• Apply Henkel standards and ISO 14001/ISO 50001 requirements, drive energy and sustainability projects, and oversee waste and energy consumption.
• Implement security standards, liaise with authorities, and guarantee legal compliance across plant operations.
• Oversee quality control at every production stage, manage non‑conformities, ensure raw material and packaging quality, and supervise laboratory activities.
• Ensure all projects are executed in line with legal and Henkel standards.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in safety, quality, environmental and legal compliance, including risk assessment and incident management.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, HPS/TPM and integration of SHEQ into daily operations.
• Proven leadership and communication skills to coach teams and promote a safety culture.
• Analytical mindset with continuous‑improvement experience to resolve root causes.
• Strategic and business acumen for budget management and overall plant performance.
